Introducing The Craft Box Club Christmas kit!

It’s that time of year! Here it is, our Christmas kit. I hope you really love making this while you have a bit of time off over the holidays. There are a few different crafting processes to enjoy with this kit so you can really get your craft on and relax into making. These magic rings look great as a Christmas decoration but they’ve been designed so that you can display them as wall hangings all year round.

I’ve got really addicted to pom pom making whilst I’ve been designing this kit! They’re lovely to make and so versatile! Check out the blog for a few extra ideas.

While stocks last, I’ve added two teabags from Dragonfly Tea this month so you can really make the most of a couple of hours of you time. I love the eco credentials of this company as they use plant based materials for the teabag and the packaging.

The video is on YouTube so, especially if you’re getting this as a Christmas present, put it on your TV and get everyone to join in with your Christmas crafting.

Choking hazard! Some people have said these would be nice to hang in a nursery. Please be careful of these around babies as the the buttons are a chocking hazard. Please hang out of the way or maybe remove the buttons from the design. I think it still works. Thanks!

TOP TIPS

  • Be careful! - You need to cut the corks with a sharp knife. Make sure you cut carefully.

  • Pom pom wrapping - Don’t wrap your yarn too tight round the template.

  • Be patient - I promise the glue sticks really well when it’s dry. Give it time to dry and things will be easier.

  • Try to follow the video - It’s easier to do things in the same order as the video. Follow the steps and your decorations will turn out great!

Plan your craft

Total make time - 1 - 2 hours + drying time

  1. Cut corks into 4 and glue buttons onto 6 of them. Stick the others onto the stars.

  2. Make your tassels.

  3. Make your pom poms.

  4. Wrap the outer ring with white yarn.

  5. Stick corks to the rings

  6. Attach poms, tassels and a hanger loop.
