Introducing EARTH PAINT BRACELETS…

I’ve been wanting to make a jewellery kit for a while now and here it is. This kit uses all natural , non-toxic materials so it’s great for the planet and looks really pretty and organic too! The beads are made from a basic salt dough mix and blue earth powder paint made from naturally occurring minerals. I love powder paint as it can be easily packed plastic free, you can use it for loads of different things and it has such a wonderful, vibrant colour!

TOP TIPS

-Make a dry dough - If you go too wet it’s hard to make your beads neat and round.

-Make the sough and use it - Don’t leave the dough around too long or the gluten relaxes and you’ll get a softer dough that will be hard to work with. If you do, add more flour to bring it back to the right consistency.

-Dry the dough slow - Dry the dough in the sun. It’s more eco-friendly and you’ll get more even beads without cracks.

-Measure twice, cut once - Make sure your bracelets are the right size before you cut!
